In today’s industry you’re not expected to be the “Jack of all Trades” or “The King of One,” but the “King of Many.”

Clinton Sparks -- one of the hottest Hip Hop Deejays to hit the scene in a minute -- went from a Hip Hop hopeful to a world renowned musical architect in just six years.

This heavy hitter has a plethora of bullets on his resume which includes: being recognized by the Power Summit Awards in the Dominican Republic as the Syndicated Radio DJ of the year in 2006; Being Diddy’s official DJ; producing tracks for R&B bad boy Akon… Oh yeah, did I mention he is a cast member of the Daily 10 on E! TV?

When Sparks slid through Chicago, he took the time out of his busy schedule to kick it with the NBC5 Street Team before heading over to J Bar -- located in the sleek, luxurious James Hotel -- to celebrate his birthday.

*Side note for the ladies: If you’re like me, Appletinis and Cosmos are a staple of your diet, so it might be a good idea to slap on some heels and head over to J Bar for Stiletto Tuesdays, where ladies get a dollar off of their drinks for every inch of their heels. I don’t know about you, but I plan on wearing some stilts out there this Tuesday.
