Tony Lossano & Amy Zanglin, NBC5 Street Team (Video)

Tony from NUDE HIPPO here! Last night, I went to see I Want Someone To Eat Cheese With at the Music Box and it was pretty good! I'm not a movie reviewer, I'll leave that to my Hippocritic, but as a moviegoer and a lifelong Chicagoan, I really enjoyed this film.

I spoke to Jeff Garlin briefly and learned that he was both surprised and thrilled that a full house of over 500 people paid to see the first showing. I found him to be very modest as he explained to me that he only expected about a hundred.

Jeff also spoke about the importance of his film being set in the city of Chicago and his use of "real" locations, not just sending a crew in to get a shot of the skyline and the lake and then leaving town. One surreal moment for me included a shot of the Music Box, since I was literally sitting inside the theater and seeing the outside of the theater on the screen.

Cheese includes MANY great appearances from individuals who were either from Chicago or had something to do with this city, including Bonnie Hunt, Steve Dahl, Tim Kazurinsky, Amy Sadaris and so many more, including a cameo from our old pal from the Apollo Theater, Rob Kolson, and a funny bit about our good buddy Mr. Skin. Comic genius Sarah Silverman also plays a pivotal role in the film.
