The concept of this monthly party is that people can go online to our website and vote for the theme of the next event. The winning option becomes the basis for the runway show that is put together by an amazing team of designers and stylists.

New Wave romantics and '80s babies unite for a contemporary re-imagining of classic '80s style with a runway show featuring fashions from Solemates... Chicago. I strongly encourage you to come dressed in your own modern twist on what '80s style would look like today.

Detroit and Chicago legend DJ Tim Baker, creator of a legendary annual end-of-summer '80s party on Lake Michigan 8-years running, will serve as musical director for the night and will play a tasteful and eclectic set of '80s jams immediately after the runway show.
